Wedge Fitting

Loft alone doesn't tell you whether a wedge is right for your game. Bounce and grind — how the sole interacts with the turf and sand — matter just as much as the number stamped on the back.

Bounce & Attack Angle

Matched to How You Actually Strike the Ball

Steep attack angles that take a deep divot generally need more bounce to prevent the leading edge from digging in. Shallower attack angles that sweep through impact often perform better with less bounce, since a high-bounce sole can cause the club to bounce into the ball rather than through it.

We measure your attack angle on full swings and on partial wedge shots specifically, since the two can differ meaningfully — and partial-shot technique is where wedge bounce matters most.

Sole Grinds for Your Course Conditions

Full/Standard Grind

Versatile all-around sole that performs well across a wide range of turf firmness and swing types — a solid default for most golfers.

Mid/Cut-Back Grind

Extra heel and toe relief for players who open the face for flop shots or play firmer, tighter turf conditions.

Low-Bounce/Full Sole

Favors shallower attack angles and softer turf or sand conditions where extra bounce would cause the club to skip into the ball.

Get Your Wedges Gapped Correctly

Wedge fittings run 45–60 minutes and cover full swings, partial shots, and greenside bunker play.
